Expert blasts critics who were silent during Aquino's time when Chinese vessel reportedly rammed PH boat

MJ Quiambao Reyes, an International Trade Expert and a vocal Duterte supporter, revealed on her Facebook post how a similar case with the PH-China ship collision happened way back Noynoy Aquino's time.

According to Reyes, it was 7 years ago when a "Chinese vessel reportedly rammed a Phil fishing boat."


Reyes detailed that there were casualties as a person died, the other 3 went missing, while some were severely injured with which the former President was "not accusing a Chinese vessel of bumping a Phil boat" back then, the expert claimed.

Following the incident, the statement of Aquino, according to Reyes, was: "We don't want to add confusion to the situation. Maybe we will find out from the investigation that it is actually the reverse."

As such, the enraged Duterte supporter expressed her outrage about the people who keep on criticizing the incumbent President for the way he handles the matter but were silent during ex-PNoy's presidency when the same incident took place.

"According to the 2012 report: May namatay. May mga missing. May mga sugatan at nasaktan. Pero bakit noon di kayo ngumawa nung halos ipawalang sala agad ng kaalyado nyong Pangulo ang Tsina? Bakeeeet!!!???", she said.

"And now you have the temerity to criticize President Duterte for wanting to get to the bottom of this new incident, for calibrating his moves, for actually filing diplomatic protest and issuing stern statements thru his alter ego, for wanting to investigate and personally ask the captain, cook, & owner of the boat on what truly transpired?", Reyes continued.

The same also lashed out at critics who have a 'double standard'.

"Ta*nang double standard naman yan! Lahat babaliktarin, lahat ng paninira gagawin, makabalik lang talaga kayo sa kapangyarihan", said the International Trade Expert.

And no, there's a world of difference on how the past & present admins handled the situation. Previous admin was quick to absolve China despite the death & injuries–while this admin called out China and filed a diplomatic protest even when all of the 22 fishermen are alive and kicking and their boat has not really sunk.
