A netizen whose money was stolen by a man she knew, posted a video of her pleading for the man to return the stolen sum., and it easily became viral, with netizens supporting her cause.

Thelma Ruperto Amante uploaded the video a day after Christmas, tagging the alleged theft Mark Dice Escobar.



The post of the crying woman pleading for the money which she claimed was not even hers to begin with.

She said that she believed that he would be able to change despite being addicted to drugs.

"Jr. Ibalik mo yung pera naging pagkakamali ko sayo naging mabuting tao ako. Kami ng pamilya ko pinagkatiwalaan ka nmin. Yung shabu at bisyo ilang araw lng mauubos n yan pero ang mga tao na kagaya namin di mo dapat ganyanin," Amante said.

The theft was apparently a man who was close to her and her family.

"Sa bawat luha na pumapatak sa akin puro kabutihan lahat nagawa ko sayo. Kikitain ko pa ang pera kaso pano ko isauli agad sa tao na nagmamay ari. Never ako nasira sa pera kaya wag mo gwin sa akin yan!," she said.



Support from the netizens have surfaced, calling out to Escobar, demanding that he return the money.

"Sana makunsensya sya at ibalik naman nya ang pera..wag naman nya palungkutin ang new year ng taong.tumulong sa.kanya," an Au Rivera said.

"Diko akalain na maggawa ny syo yan thelmz ikaw nlng bukod tanging nagtitiwala at nagtatanggol sakanya para mkapag bagong buhay sy di ny binigyng halaga ang pagbibigay mo n bagong buhay sknya," said a Phen Rivera.

There is yet to surface any update on the matter.
