The bill also lacked the names and signatures of President Rodrigo Duterte and former Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Amando M. Tetangco, Jr.
When news of one hundred peso bills that have missing details erupted, leaving many puzzled, more instances of bills with missing details surfaced, according to GMA News.
Robin Villapando Fetalvo, who withdrew the money in September, said he didn't notice the misprinted P500 bill which was among his salary money and noticed by his wife.
Aside from that, the letters making up the "Republika ng Pilipinas" were also blurry.
However, Fetalvo, with advice from his workmates, simply kept the bill.
"'Yung office-mates ko sabi sa akin, 'Itago mo na lang. Puwede 'yang collectors' item." Puwede ring ibenta," he said.
Another instance of a 50 peso bill missing President Sergio Osmeña Sr. was also reported.
The instances were explained by BSP Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr. to be caused by a malfunctioning machine.
The issue started when a netizen posted on social media a message to the Bank of the Philippine Islands when he withdrew from one of their ATM's a pile of one hundred peso bills.
