The blog site Thinking Pinoy after sharing the news that 700,000 children were injected with a dangerous drug supposedly for Dengue vaccine under the orders of then President Noynoy Aquino, lambasted now Presidential Speaker Harry Roque after he stated that former Health Secretary under the incumbent admin tried to stop the vaccinations.
The vaccine was Sanofi Pasteur's Dengvaxia and former President Benigno Aquino III during his term ordered then Health Secretary Janette Garin to administer the drug for the Dengue Vaccine School-Based Immunization to a nine-year old grade school pupils in 2016.
The target number of children to be injected was 1,000,000, but over 700,000 were actually injected with it before the World Health Organization declared the vaccine to be dangerous.
Aquino is being blamed for ordering the administration of the drug despite being suggested not to by several leaders and health officers.
Meanwhile Roque, the speaker for President Rodrigo Duterte said that former Health Secretary Pauline Ubial who Duterte appointed but whose confirmation was rejected by the Commission on Appointments, tried to stop the injection of said drug before.
Thinking Pinoy then hurled curse words at the speaker for his statement, adding that Roque was in fact one of those who were for the dismissal of Ubial as Health Sec.
"Hindi ba't isa kang oppositor sa CA confirmation ni Ubial? T*ng*na ka hanggang 'to eepalan mo? Manahimik ka diyan p*tang*na ka!" the post read.
"Ay, wait, May 17 ito, so isa sa mga issue mo na ibinato kay Ubial ay yung opposition sa Dengvaxia?! Pro-dengvaxia ka noong CA hearings ni Ubial?" it added.
Roque has not commented on the remarks.
