Lawyer’s open letter to Bette Midler: What right have you got to call our President a murderous dictator?

Bruce Rivera, a lawyer and known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte lambasted hollywood actress and entertainer Bette Midler after the latter called President Rodrigo Duterte a "murderous dictator" on her Twitter page.

The actress said this after Duterte sang during the Association of South East Asian Nations Summit dinner in Manila, as per request of United States President Donald Trump.



Duterte sang “Ikaw” (You) onstage alongside Pilita Corrales, “upon the orders of the commander in chief of the United States,” he said.

"Murderous dictator Duterte serenaded Trump with a Filipino love song.
Vlad, somebody’s tryin' to steal your man!" Midler said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump has recently come under criticism for brushing aside claims that Putin meddled in the US elections that put Trump in the White House.

Rivera meanwhile, a former faculty of the San Beda College of Law, threw fiery words at the actress.

"Yes, the Jew in you hates Trump but do you have to include the Philippines in your bigotry. Divine Miss M, let me show you my middle-finger and tell you what I think of you," he said.



Rivera said that the actress had no right to call Duterte a dictator.

"What right have you got to call our President a murderous dictator? Hitler was a murderous dictator for a reason. There was proof. Bodies of murdered Jews, the stench too much to bear for everyone to arrive at such conclusion the Nuremburg Trials were just a formality," he said.

"Now, let me ask your botox petrified face how did you come to such conclusion? Did you see bodies in the streets of Manila or Cebu for your ammonia soaked brain to conclude such fact. I am using ad hominem attacks because you started it," he added.

Rivera alleged that the actress had a problem with dissociation for hating on Duterte for his act of singing upon request of a president she hated.

"There is so much injustice by people just close to you. Start by calling out Weinstein before you tongue lash your way across the Pacific Ocean. Capische!!!" he said.
