Cama had just started working as a bank employee in Makati when she was killed.
On Nov 12, Cama's half-naked body was found in an abandoned building occupied by Timber Port in the Mega Bus Lines compound, about 100 meters where she lived.
Her father is an electrician at the bus company.
Cama's lower body was burned, her face was deformed, as if it was struck by a hard object.
Andanar said in his post that the suspect for the killing was a drug addict.
"Mabel was just starting her career as a bank employee in Makati. She is the 4th child of a bus electrician named Mang Rey Cama. Despite Mang Rey's meager resources, he managed to send all of his 4 children to school and become professionals. They live inside the garage compound of the bus company in Pasig," Andanar said.
On Sunday, truck driver Randy Oavenada, 37, was arrested at 9:30 while he was asleep in his room which was within the Timber Port Enterprises Compound Ortigas Avenue Extension in Barangay Rosario.
Oavenada's fingerprints matched the ones in Cama's cellphone and body.
He also underwent a drug test which testes positive.
Cama's lower body were burned which made it difficult for authorities to determine if she was raped.
All her belongings were stolen, except for her phone.
Earlier, Oavenada testified to the police that he saw mechanic Diolan Acebuche, who also lives in the compound, standing behind the victim as she was texting to get inside their place on night of Nov. 10.
But witnesses attested that Acebuche was asleep on the night Cama was killed.
“He just wanted a scapegoat out of his crime so he could walk away scot-free, but the evidence says otherwise,” the police chief of Pasig City Police Station Senior Supt. Orlando Yebra said.
Yebra said the crime could not have been committed by one man alone.
He said the police are still investigating four other persons of interest, whom he did not identify.
“We believe that this horrific crime could not be done by Oavenada alone,” he said. “We are still on the hunt for other suspects and will cases against them as John Does.”
