Adam Garrie, a political commentator from the United Kingdom said that the world owes President Rodrigo Duterte a debt for he brought attention to the illegal drug trade.

Duterte since the campaign period  has expressed his intent to end the illegal drug trade.

Garrie, a known Duterte supporter with his previous posts, said that Duterte gave coverage to the issue of all dangerous drugs.

"The world owes a debt of gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte for helping to give coverage to the issue of ALL DANGEROUS DRUGS. Terrorists, mass shooters, violent criminals have a single weapon of choice and that is DRUGS," he said in a Facebook post.

Duterte has been receiving both praise and criticism for his platform.

The "Tokhang"  operations by the Philippine National Police to curve drugs has become infamous, both nationally and internationally.

Despite these, supporters have remained defensive, among which is Garrie who claims that without the election of the incumbent president, the problem on drugs would have been left untouched.

In a previous  post, he said that Duterte should pursue his plan and even build a revolutionary government.
