A Passport Index was released by the International Firm Arton Capital which ranked the strongest passports in the world, and the Philippines had a score of 61.
This means that Filipinos can avoid the hassle of securing a visa which requires waiting two weeks to two months.
a Visa is a document which depending on the country, is required from foreigners so they can enter.
The Philippine passport ranked 65th which is classified as "moderately low" compared with other countries.
As there are countries that do not require a visa prior to departure, but require it upon arrival at their immigrationborder.
These are the countries that Filipinos can visit visa-free (the list may change when countries change their policy):
In Europe, the countries are: Kosovo, Cook Islands, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
Those under ASEAN are: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
The non-ASEAN countries are: Azerbaijan, Taiwan, Georgia, Hong Kong,India, Iran, Israel, South Korea, Macau, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste.
Those in North America are; Costa Rica, Dominica, Haiti, Nicaragua, Saint Lucia, Saint Vicent and the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
In South America, these countries are, Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia, Equador, Peru, Suriname.
The listed African countries are Burundi and Cape Verde.
