"Dear Uncle Jim, not only is Lorraine not going to get fired by Malacanang for using her voice in social media, the Palace loves her voice so much they got her, she resisted but they insisted (for over two months) and she serves at the pleasure of the President after all, as the WAIT FOR IT USEC FOR NEW MEDIA AND OFFICIAL SPOKESPERSON OF THE PCOO."
Chu made the post on her Facebook page on Wednesday in response to Paredes' tweet on Tuesday.
Paredes tweeted, "#FireBadoyBully, I support PAB", refering to Pinoy Ako Blog whose creator Jover Laurio has been criticized for the blog's content.
On the day Laurio, the anti-administration blogger revealed herself, Badoy criticized her for airing her opinions under the cloak of anonimity, and the day after that she said that Laurio's "ugliness is extraordinary", posting afterwards a photo of Laurio in a bikini and called her "JoverGanda".
On her defense, Chu said that the posts were because Laurio was instrumental in having Badoy's account blocked once for days.
Chu called Laurio's change of assignment as a "HASHTAG: super promotion".
"She is now a USEC at the PCOO, and not only that, the voice you all want to shut up? IS THE VOICE THAT IS THE OFFICIAL VOICE OF THE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT," she said.
"So if you want to know if may bagyo, walang pasok, anong sabi ni Duts, anong nangyayari, you will have no choice but to listen to the person you want to shut up!
The person you had FB blocked, will now be the person handling the social media sites of the Palace.
ANG SAYA SAYA DI BA? INDEED IT WAS AN EMOTIONAL!" she added.
Chu also mentioned that Badoy before leaving DSWD, closed a P3 billion deal for the centers like GRACES, alongside Senators Loren Legarda and Nancy Binay.
