The ethics complaint filed against Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is most likely to prosper, said blog site Thinking Pinoy, after analysis of all senators and what their stand on the said issue will be be.

The ethics complaint against Trillanes was reportedly drafted by Senator Dick Gordon who announced it on Thursday, and filed it before the senate ethics committee on Monday.

Gordon said that the intention of the complaint is not to suspend Trillanes but to remove him from his position for good.

The complaint was after Trillanes called the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee a "comite de abswelto" and chided Gordon and Tito Sotto for lawyering for the presidential son, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte.

This was after Trillanes said that Duterte should come forward to the Senate on their investigation on the 6.4 billion "shabu" shipment from China.

Thinking Pinoy on Saturday, predicted that a majority of the senators will vote for the complaint.

After the filing, the complaint will be voted on by the senate ethics committee and will decide if it should be endorsed to the plenary or not.

According to the post, from the members of the committee composed of Sewnators Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Gringo Honasan , Grace Poe, Manny Pacquiao, Risa Hontiveros and Antonio Trillanes, the ones most likely to vote against him are Sotto, Lacson and Pacquiao.

He said this is because the three, based on previous circumstances, are not fond of the senator.

Sotto irked at Trillanes on the same Aug 29 meeting. Lacson also faced Trillanes when the latter  called majority bloc leaders"cowards', and Lacson rebutting a statement. Pacquiao also expressed his dismay after Trillanes allegedly went against his religious beliefs during the hearing of Arturo Lascanas.

On the other hand,he said Hontiveros and Trillanes will vote against the complaint, while Honasan and Poe's decisions are yet to be determinable.

"I put the odds at 70% in favor of the ethics complaint, 30% against," the post read.

Once forwarded, the ethics complaint needs affirmative votes from two-thirds of the Senate, which is 14.74, or 15 votes, according to the blog.

Predicting the voting turnout, the blog said that the ones who are highly propable to give affirmative votes are:

Senators Koko Pimentel, JV Ejercito, Miguel Zubiri, Manny Pacquiao, Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Gregorio Honasan, Cynthia Villar, Nancy Binay, Sonny Angara, Dick Gordon, and Loren Legarda.

The sway voters would be Win Gatchalian, Joel Villanueva, Grace Poe, Chiz Escudero, and Ralph Recto.

The ones who are most likely to vote against are Franklin Drilon,  Francis Pangilinan, Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino, and of course, Trillanes himself.

"The odds of Gordon’s ethics complaint receiving a 2/3 affirmative vote are pretty good, but it is by no means certain. Thus, it’s important for Gordon, along with other camps who want to expel Trillanes, to secure three out of the five sway votes," the blog said.

It added that Trillanes'  political survival is very seriously under threat.

On Monday, Gordon announced that he had the support of "more than 14" senators on the complaint he filed.
