In a privilege speech, the senator said that
if the government intends to be committed to then previous administration's war
against drugs, they should do pursue a war against corruption.
He mentioned former Customs Commissioner
Nicanor Faedon was aware of the"Tara" system within his bureau even
before he assumed office.
He said the corruption has been long in
existence.
