New York University alumnus: 'A real man is not afraid to utter apologies'
A real man is not afraid to make apologies and President Duterte is the best example of that. Krizzete Laureta Chu, an online blogger and an alumnus of New York University commended President Duterte for doing such.

The head of the state, President Rodrigo Duterte President Rodrigo Duterte made an apology last Tuesday to the Maranaos for the chaos in Marawi City. The president apologized for the damages caused by both the authorities and the rebel groups.

"Hindi pa naman natapos ang Ramadan, I would like to say to the Maranao people that I am very, very, very sorry na nangyari ito sa atin. Sana kung madaling panahon you will find a new heart to forgive my soldiers, ang gobyerno, pati ako for declaring martial law. . . Wala akong choice eh. Sinisira na ang Marawi. I have to drive them (Maute group) out. But I am very sorry. Pakiabot na lang doon sa mga kapatid nating mga Maranao na ang aking paghihinanakit rin sa nangyari na ito. Patawarin ninyo po kami"

“He is saying sorry for something that's not his fault, but this is the man he is. It's like us saying sorry to someone who just lost someone.”

Chu also added that though it is not the President’s fault, he chose to express regret on what is happening to Marawi, yet the yellows pin down the president as they blame Duterte for the Maute and Chu finds it as senseless act of this yellow people.

“It's like a patient blaming the last cigarette he puffed before being told he has lung cancer by the doctor. I shouldn't have smoked that cigarette. Duterte should have taken care of the terrorist threat.”

Chu also stated that Pres. Duterte was the best example of humanity.Chu added, “Yes, critics, there is a world of difference between humanity and spinelessness. Being spineless like Mar doesn't make him more humane.”

Yellows blaming Duterte for Maute is the most stupid thing I've heard.

It's like a patient blaming the last cigarette he puffed before being told he has lung cancer by the doctor. "I shouldn't have smoked that cigarette." "Duterte should have taken care of the terrorist threat."

Ah well, this man is the best shining example of humanity. Yes, critics, there is a world of difference between humanity and spinelessness. Being spineless like Mar doesn't make him more humane.
