Radio journo to groups against Duterte: 'If you really are pro-poor, take care of the addicts yourselves'

Radio journalist ED Dan Verzola in his Facebook account sent out his message to the groups and organizations that are prominently against President Rodrigo Duterte's war against drugs, questioning if they are really pro-poor agents.

The parties involved were Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, European Union, Liberal Party, Senator Antonio Trillanes, Magdalo member Gary Alejano, Atty. Jude Sabio, New York Times and "cohorts in attacking President Rodrigo Duterte".



Verzola said that they are pointing to the poor ans hapless being victims of extrajudicial killings "as per your posture and liked design of attack".

Verzola said that these groups and personalities should then prove their stance of being pro-poor.

He said that instead of wasting their "multi-million dollar fund of destruction" they should give their money to the poor addicts and pushers.

He also suggested they build training centers and man them themselves.

"Provide them the best training and education and give them high paying jobs for them to escape their hard life and being poor as you are portraying," he said.

Verzola also stated that these groups should stop collecting their wages for their own and give it to the poor and the addicts "for them to maintain their criminal vices"



"Or better yet, get them to your countries and take care of these addicts at your own risks! Let's see if you can!"

To date, criticisms from the aforementioned parties are still being hurled at President Duterte with unconfirmed statistics saying there are over seven thousand casualties from the drug war he has started.

An impeachment case is also dawning on Duterte as filed by Gary Alejano, and a complaint has been filed against him in the International Criminal Court by Atty. Jude Sabio for being a "mass murderer".
