Read how Mocha Uson humbly answers criticism of Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack

After being lambasted by Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack, the sister of Miriam of late Senator Miriam Santiago, newly appointed Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications and Operations Office, Mocha Uson responded calmly, saying she will take the harsh words as a challenge to do her job well.

Defensor Knack earlier posted on her Facebook page that she is offended on the appointment Mocha to such a high government position.



Knack herself has been an Asec for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and her colleagues she said, were "highly educated intelligent and had long years of experience".

"I am not in favor of Mocha Uson being given a position as high as Assistant Secretary. There are other jobs she can fill in government," she said, adding that if her sister, Miriam would be furious if she was still alive.

Uson did not lash out in her response, but admitted that she may not be qualified for the position, and that she has no intention to answer about Knack questioning her educational attainment, "wala po akong balak sagutin ang tanong niyo po patungkol sa educational attainment ko po dahil never ko po naging ugali ang mag buhat ng sarili kong banko."

She said she will work hard to prove herself worthy of the position.



"Kaya po asahan ninyo na lang na akin pong pagsusumikapan na gampanan ang trabahong pinagkatiwala po ng ating Pangulo."

She said she takes the words of the international lawyer as a challenge.

"Marami pong salamat at akin pong tinatanggap ang inyong komento bilang challenge po. Maraming salamat mam Paula Defensor Knack".
