Political analyst blasts Leni: 'Sa buong buhay mo hindi ka naging aktibista'

De La Salle University professor of Political Science Antonio Contreras in his Facebook account lashed on Vice President Leni Robredo and advised her not to play pretend and act like an activist with a cause.



This was after Robredo was reported to have said that the reason why she ran for Vice Presidency was an "impending Marcos return".

Robredo ran against former Senator Bongbong Marcos in the 2016 elections.

Marcos filed an electoral protest after the elections for Robredo allegedly cheated her way to victory.

Contreras noted that the people from Naga City where Robredo and her late husband Jesse served, know that the VP never once displayed any form of activism.

"Sa buong buhay mo hindi ka nagpakita ng pagiging isang tunay na aktibista. Alam yan ng mga taga-Naga. Manufactured ang pagiging maka-laylayan mo.Hindi dahil sa UP ka nag-aral e tibak ka n," Contreras said.



"Hindi dahil sa isang public interest legal group ka nagtrabaho e human rights lawyer ka na kung wala ka namang ginawa kundi mag-interview ng clients, at ni hindi ka tumayo sa harapan ng isang huwes para mag-litigate," he added

The political analyst said he doubted if Robredo ever pleaded in court.

He said it is not believable that Marcos was the reason why Robredo ran.
