Journalist: Leni's tactic is to lessen anti-Duterte moves
Journalist Jojo Robles in his Facebook account said that Vice President Leni Robredo is no longer playing the strong anti-opposition leader role because it has not been benificial for her.

Robles said that it is surprising how Robredo did not pose any objection President Rodrigo Duterte planning the appointment of her opponent in the Vice Presidential elections, former senator Bongbong Marcos as Interior Secretary.

Robles said that Robredo would have once took to the streets if Duterte did as little as offer Marcos a position as barangay chairman.

He noted how Robredo protested against the burial of the late strong president, Ferdinand Marcos.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Why join Leila, Sonny and Kiko in the political netherworld, after all, when she still has a chance of getting the Big Prize?" Robles said.

Robredo and Marcos are now in the process of a pending election recount after the latter accused the former of cheating her way into position.

"Maybe Leni thinks she can charm Digong to side with her in the protest case over that still-to-be-scheduled dinner. Maybe she believes she can convince him to give her another Cabinet job and make him forget his infatuation with the Marcoses," he sa

Robredo resigned from her position as Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council.

"It's worth a shot. After all, Leni already tried being "leader of the opposition." And look where that got her."
