Political expert rebuts Leni's defense: 'Seriously? You did not say that?'
Political strategist Malou Tiquia in her Facebook page rebutted Vice President Leni Robredo who defended herself from criticis of the video she has made for the United Nations.

Robredo has been criticized for giving out unconfirmed statistics on the deaths related to the anti-illegal drugs campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The VP in an interview with DZMM on Tuesday clarified that she did not pin all the 7,000 deaths to Duterte.

"Wala akong sinabi na yun yung drug-related. Ang sabi ko lang, from the time na ni-launch yung anti-drug war, nagkaroon na tayo ng 7,000 summary executions," she said.

Tiquia reminded the VP that there was a video that would counter her claim.

"Seriously? You did not say that? There is a video, a lot of people saw and heard it, you can transcribe that. So, now you are doing what?" she said.

"This is your sound byte: "It is already February 2017, and the body count due to drug-related killings keeps growing. We are now looking at some very grim statistics: since July last year, more than 7,000 people have been killed in summary executions."" she added.

Robredo in her radio interview cited an earlier report by the PNP, saying only 3, 979 were drug-related deaths while 3,560 were classified as deaths under investigation (DUI).

Alternative Truth: "7,000 summary executions, but I did not say they were all drug related..." Heard this over radio this morning on my way to UPLB. Kept shaking my head. How could you?

Seriously? You did not say that? There is a video, a lot of people saw and heard it, you can transcribe that. So, now you are doing what?

This is your sound byte: "It is already February 2017, and the body count due to drug-related killings keeps growing. We are now looking at some very grim statistics: since July last year, more than 7,000 people have been killed in summary executions."

Truly sad!
