4 cops killed in Davao del Sur; allegedly ambushed by NPA
On Wednesday, Four policemen were killed in an ambush in Barangay Sibayan, Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
Reportedly, they were attacked by suspected members of the communist New People's Army while the policemen were responding to a report from a barangay official that a murder happened in the area.
A Scene of the Crime Operatives member was able to call the Davao del Sur Provincial Police for help during the ambush.
Authorities are refusing to give the victims' identity pending notification of families.
