The gathering is supposed to express “people’s support” on President Rodrigo Duterte’s “war against illegal drugs, poverty, and corruption.” According to the post, the event will include a prayer vigil and candle lighting ceremony and will feature performances from local celebrities.

On February 26, there will be a parade and program from six o’clock in the morning to ten o’clock.

Sasot also accompanied her post with a heart-tugging video, which featured aerial shots of the Philippine flag being hoisted by people in rallies presumably in rallies organized pro-Duterte bodies.

Playing in the video was “Para sa Tunay na Pagbabago,” a song written by Filipino music legend Ka Freddie Aguilar for Duterte when he was still campaigning for the presidency. It was the same song playing during Duterte inauguration on June 30, 2016.

Sassot had to post a video clarifying the truthfulness of the announcement as she reportedly got messages asking if her account was hacked. According to Sassot, one of the organizers is the People’s National Movement For Federalism.
