De Castro stated, "Can someone please tell her that she is being arrested for her alleged involvement in the drug trade?"

The said comment came after reports surfaced that lady senator was quoted to have said, "Karangalan ko po na ako ay makulong dahil sa mga pinaglalaban ko" before she surrendered to authorities.

The former travel show host said that de Lima is "not Jose Rizal" and that it is not for her political stances that she is being imprisoned for.

On Thursday, February 23, a regional trial court (RTC) issued de Lima's warrant of arrest on the drug charges filed against her by the Department of Justice. De Lima, along with her former bodyguard Ronnie Dayan, was reported to have coddled durg lords in exchange for their protection.

De Lima denied the allegations. According to a report by ABS-CBN News, she said, "Inosente po ako. Wala pong katotohanan, pawang kasinungalingan po ang mga pinaparatang nila sakin na ako'y di umano nakinabang sa droga... Lalabas po ang katotohanan sa tamang panahon."

Towards the end of her post, de Castro challenged de Lima to "prove that you [de Lima] are innocent." It is only then that she will she express support for her.
