Highly respected journalist exposes LP’s scheme: ‘1k per head during rallies’
In a very telling post on Facebook, journalist ED Dan Verzola shared that he receive a phone call from a “friend” asking him to find at least 1000 people for the EDSA People Power anniversary of February 25.
The catch? Each person will be given P1000 for attending the rally which is allegedly organized by the yellow Liberal Party, the political group former by the late Ninoy Aquino.
“Budget per head is P1000 but siyempre ang ibibigay natin sa mga sasali ay P500 to P700 lang para may "mobilization fund" tayo,” Verzola wrote.
When asked if the “order” was from Malacanang, the supposed unnamed “friend” said no.
In one of the comments, a netizen said, “Hanggang ngayon ay gusto pa rin nila kumita kahit tapos na ang kanilang pamamayagpag. Buhay pa pala sila.”
