Writer Krizette Laureta Chu said on her Facebook page that any war will always have collateral damage, and President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs is no exception, however some officials must be stopped from abusing their power and going on a killing spree.

"Sure, there are collateral damages in any war, including this one, and the hard truth is, we cannot help it. Wage wars and accept this painful reality, or do not wage war at all and accept the status quo." she said.

Chu however, said that if the war must go on, there must be maximum precaution.

"If we allow corrupt policemen to abuse their power, or not to look for accountability so that it will be easier for criminals to kill anyone they like and just slap a "DRUG PUSHER AKO WAG TULARAN" sign on the bodies of their victims, we will be in the losing end." she said.

She said steps must be taken to stop those who kill without discrimination.

She said she criminals has ultimate faith in Duterte and she is certain he will make guilty  criminals pay.
