Sass Sasot to Leni taking charge of housing to fire victims: Let LGU do their jobs

Social Media activist Sass Sasot commented on the recent statement of Vice President Leni Robredo regarding her intent to provide housing solutions for the victims of the NIA Road fire.

"VP Leni will recommend on-site development daw at no relocation. Ma'am, sasapawan ninyo ang LGU, ang QC City Hall? At ang agency na nag-aasikaso ng housing?" she said.

"As in, kayo talaga ang mag-coordinate ng solution at hindi ang MAYOR ng QUEZON CITY?!" she added.

Robredo recently resigned from being the chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council.

Sasot quoted Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista as saying, "“Personally, ayoko na sana silang bumalik doon kasi hindi na safe para sa kanila 'yung lugar na 'yun dahil una, tabing creek 'yan. Pangalawa, diyan na nagbi-breed 'yung dengue, baka may tetanus na diyan, baka maapektuhan 'yung mga bata.”
