Nicolas-Lewis said that investors, fund managers and traders will lose interest in the country after finding out that Filipinos are rooting for a Presidential candidate who is unable to unite the country.

She said that these fund managers are only trying to serve what's best for their clients and so news abot a rapist candidate that a people tolerated might change their minds.

She said the Philippines was in a growing economy then, the second highest GDP growth in tiger Asia but a presidential candidate who has angered Australia, Mexico and China could make these investors lose interest.

The billionaire Filipino-American predicted a drop in the dollar rate, affecting Filipinos all over the world.

She said the headlines "Perverted Philippine Presidential hopeful wanted first slot in a prison gangbang, entertains laughing crowd at rally" would reach international new agencies like BBC and would cause damage.

"More traders google "President Duterte" pa more. They see the pictures. Cringing women getting kissed, sitting on his lap. Youtube clips studded with words like "'putang ina ka Pope.'" she wrote.

The investors would not risk it, according to Nicolas-Lewis affecting all trades, including telecommunication all because of  Duterte and his supporters.

"It's a global economy. A president also REPRESENTS the country in the eyes of the world. Obama is US, Putin is Russia, Trudeau is Canada," she said.

"The Philippines? For now to the world, the Philippines id those people laughing about a dead woman missionary that their Presidential candidate wished he could have raped first. Can we see now how awful that was?" she added.
