Journalist: Leni "epal lang", trying to win church over by hitting Duterte
Journalist Jojo Robles in his Facebook account said that Viced President Leni Robredo is only trying to win the Catholic Church over when she criticized President Rodrigo Duterte's statements about the clergy, but has in fact, nothing to offer to solve the Duterte-Church rift.
He said that the Vice President is only trying to stay relevant following her dismissal from the Duterte Cabinet, and so she chides him for feuding with the Church.
"This is just plain and simple "riding" on the news by her gang of Abnoy-era propagandists. Nothing new or important," he said.
Robles said that Robredo did not even offer a solution to resolve the misunderstanding, but only went for attention.
"If Leni really wanted to be relevant, she would renounce her earlier position that the SAF 44 case should no longer be reopened, despite the lack of any real closure. Yan ang pagsakay sa issue na may katuturan, lalo na't anniversary na ng Mamasapano," he said.
