Radyo Inquirer reports that government forces such as the Philippine National Police and other operatives are ready for the Miss Universe pageant tomorrow.
Authorities have been securing the area outside the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, the venue for the Miss Universe pageant.
Everything is set for the pageant, which is going to be held in the country after 23 years. Also spotted outside the MoA Arena are personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine Red Cross.
According to the report, candidates for the pageant arrived at the arena earlier today for their final rehearsals. Later in the afternoon, a red carpet event will be held with guests including the infamous Steve Harvey who will host the event.
The giant Miss Universe crown located just outside the venue also gathered attention from the people taking selfies.
Authorities expect that security will be tight tomorrow since VIPs are also expected to grace the pageant including government officials and businessmen.
