Inday Espina-Varona, Contributing Editor/Writer at ABS CBN Integrated News & Current Affairs earned ire from netizens and several contemporary 'political analysts' after posting her opinion over #LeniLeaks issue.
Espina-Varona said after reading the supposed "expose" ouster plot, she was not convinced that the leaked emails show a grand ouster plot.
"It does show Loida Nicholas' rather futile calls to drum up the resignation call. That is not sedition. It's a rather pathetic display of inability to read the political climate. It's also a display of why and how the LP dropped from the heights. Can't even fashion a coherent message, for god's sake", she added.
These statements of Espina-Varona drew different reactions from netizens.
Other post commenters claim that Espina-Varona is one of the informants of Stratford as revealed by the leaked emails to Wikileaks which the latter immediately denied.
Though, some agreed to the statement of Espina-Varona and stated that it was a well analyzed opinion.

Sige nga, Sec Martin Andanar, ask PTV4 to come up with a coherent #LeniLeaks reportage :) -- seriously, may ethics ang mga PTV4 peeps and will also give Martin benefit of the doubt there.
After a cursory read of the "expose" of ouster and what-have-you (notwithstanding the fact that privileged information is privileged), here's my take:
It does not show a grand ouster plot.
It does show Loida Nicholas' rather futile calls to drum up the resignation call. That is not sedition.
It's a rather pathetic display of inability to read the political climate. It's also a display of why and how the LP dropped from the heights. Can't even fashion a coherent message, for god's sake.
The Office of the VP, her staff and supporters, are well within legal bounds begging support from allies. It's just like Digong and his communications orchestrating attacks against the VP and anyone else they think are enemies.
The office of the VP also within legal bounds asking comms support for her survival where the electoral challenge is concerned.
What public funds were used illegally? Nada. Email, asking support.
Bad strategy in the VP's camp doesn't translate into an ouster call. It's just bad strategy.
If I were editor, would I scramble? I'm conservative where personal messages are concerned. I even ask on open FB if I can use comments and posts for quotes.
Official documents are fair game. Private, restricted comms are not.
You don't need hysteria or so-called exposes to tackle the VP. Her statements and press releases should give you enough cannon fodder. (Nothing in that email that's not on their releases and statements hehe)
Pffffft.
Wag pansinin ang attempts to badger media. The fact that govt media not even on this, the fact that it needs the parallel socmed drive simply means... Wala Lang :)
