Political Analyst to Marcos protesters: Come up with something smarter than "Hukayin"

Prominent political analyst Antonio Contreras had a message to the people protesting against the recent burial of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani:

Come up with something more creative to shout  than "Hukayin".

Hukayin, or dig out, is the chant of the protesters who demand that the body be exhumed from the Heroes' Cemetery.

"The only time the state allows an exhumation is when it is in aid of an investigation, like in a criminal or civil case, such as doing an autopsy on a suspect or a victim" he wrote.

He also said that the protesters should come up with ways to argue with the court that Marcos did commit some crimes in the past for his body to be removed from the cemetery.

"Or ask Senator Grace Poe to request for a paternity test to once and for all put to rest the rumors.This, instead of chanting "Hukayin!"" he added.
