UP alumnus satirically tells Edcel Lagman to replace Marcos' body at LNMB

Ben Bañares in his popular NewskuPow news item said that Albay Representative Edcel Lagman issued an urgent motion at the Supreme Court to remove late president Ferdinand Marcos' body from the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

He said that Lagman could replace the cadaver if he wanted to.

Lagman reportedly filed the motion to ensure that the body buried was not a wax figure.

"Kung kayo ang Marcoses, matapos niyong hintayin ng ilang dekada ang pagkakataong ito,maglilibing ba kayo doon ng… wax?" he wrote.

He said Lagman's motion was a wrong move and cited reasons:

Beñares also hit Duterte's critics for calling the current president as 'trapo' or 'traditional politician'.


"I-Google n’yo nga ang ibig sabihin ng TRADITIONAL! Si Digong ang KABALIGTARAN ng salitang 'yan." he wrote.

He said members of the Liberal Party were the embodiments of the term.

He satirically said that he agreed that the name of the Heroes' Cemetery be changed instead.

"PARA MATIGIL NA ANG LAHAT,palitan na lang daw  ang pangalan ng LNMB. Gawin na lang daw itong… LIBINGAN NG MGA PATAY. Oo nga naman. Problem solved!" he wrote.
