Blakdyak is a half-Filipino half-Barbadosian artist with influences ranging from but not limited to reggae, dub music and hip-hop.

He spawned a bunch of moderately successful hits during his heyday but never made quite made it into the forefront of the Philippine cultural psyche.

He is the singer behind popular '90s novelty hits, such as "Modelong Charing," "Noon At Ngayon," and "Asin At Paminta."

In 2014, he made headlines after he was nabbed for malicious mischief, alarm and scandal, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia in his apartelle in Cubao.

Despite this, the comedian was able to regain himself and resume his career.
