FVR says Leni not unimportant, asks her to stay in the Duterte team

Former president Fidel V. Ramos asked Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday to "stay in the team".

While Robredo barely gets the spotlight and is often seen as "spare time", Ramos said he thinks she will prove significant in the field of politics.

He asked Robredo to be in line with Duterte despie the fact that she had a different running mate in the elections.

He also disclosed that he voted for Duterte and Robredo in the elections.

Robredo has repeatedly expressed her support for Duterte his despite their different views and his close relations with former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
