Espinosa affidavit implicates De Lima, generals and media men

Before Albuera Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa was killed while being under the protection of the Philippine National Police at around 4 am on November 5, he was able to present an affidavit explaining his son, Kerwin Espinosa's involvement with illegal drug trade.

Mayor Espinosa revealed names of top politicians, mediamen and military men in his affidavit.

Included in the names is Senator Leila de Lima.

Also stated in the affidavit was his revelation that Kerwin had an armed group which protected him for his business to perpetuate.

The armed group was to kill pushers who failed in their transactions.

PNP Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa quickly ordered the investigation on Espinosa's death.

He said he believed that the killing was done to prevent his son, Kerwin from testifying in court.
