Multi-awarded entrepreneur Carl Balita wrote a prose standing for the burial of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The  poem that was posted on Facebook, began by questioning whether the cemetery was for heroes or saints.

"Libingan ng mga Bayani? O Libingan ng mga Santo? Ang libing ba ay isang karapatan? O isang pribilehiyo?" he wrote.

He also said that this country is comprised of a majority of Catholics and yet it could not "forgive".


"Sabi nga ni Hesukristo, Ang walang sala pumukol ng unang bato!Sa libing ng isang patay, ano magbabago? Sa pagpigil nito, may mapapala ba tayo?" he wrote.


He implied that the dead can no longer do harm to the living.


He said the hate in the hearts of the people should be buried.


He said forgiveness is the way to healing.




"Kasaysayan ay mapait, walang kokontra kahit sino,Subalit ang pagpapatawad ang hihilom nito!" he wrote.


Balita also said that not one person will actually win the nationwide debate on the motion.


He said heroism is not determined by how a man is buried, but on those who look back on his accomplishments.


"Huwag ipilit kung ayaw - wala namang magbabago,Kabayanihan ay ihuhusga ng kasaysayan mismo!." he wrote.


"Ang Pilipinas ay bayan ng buhay na mga Filipino,Tayo ay magkaisa humakbang patungo sa pagbabago!" he added.
