Famous writer commends Duterte admin, MMDA for change
Writer Krizette Laureta Chu commended the achievements of the Duterte administration specifically the improvement of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
Chu's car was hit on the side by a bus on Monday.
"I was prepared to react according to the driver's attitude, but he was so apologetic, I decided to let it go."
She said an MMDA officer assisted them and made sure that she was alright.
She said the last time the same incident happened to her, an MMDA personnel made them go to the office in the port area "para mahassle ng konti", and then asked them for money for his "snacks".
Chu said the officer now made sure they were fine and sped off without asking for anything.
"I feel so optimistic. I felt proud that our people are regaining their dignity."
