Radyo Inquirer 990 AM anchor Ira Panganiban on Facebook revealed that most of the people who moved for the removal of the Mocha Uson blog were supporters of Senator Leila de Lima.

Panganiban called the people allegedly involved as "hypocrites".

The online petition calling for Facebook to take down the page of the Mocha Uson Blog, which staunchly supports President Rodrigo Duterte,  has been circulating social media and has been gathering support.

The petition was started by Paul Quilét in Change.org.

He called Uson a “Filipino entertainer-turned-Duterte die-hard supporter” who he said “uses her Facebook page to spread fictitious and false information about pressing issues in the Philippines.”

He described the inconsistencies in the page, among which are “from the role the USAID plays in the country to malicious and false news concerning other government officials, eliciting unwarranted hate from the public.”.

There are over 32,000 signatures as of press time.

According to Panganiban, those who signed were former  Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Loretta Rosales, Senator De Lima herself, and the board of the CHR.
