Sass Sasot who actively campaigns for some kind of social change revealed on Friday that a law under President Benigno Aquino III was passed wherein the subject is ostensibly nonexistent, and does not even have an online presence.
The Law was entitled R.A. No. 10895 "An Act Granting the Avocado Broadband Telecoms, Inc. a Franchise to Construct, Install, Establish, Operate and Maintain Telecommunications System Throughout the Philippines"
Sasot questioned the existence of the corporation.
She asked who owned Avocado Broadband Telecoms, Inc., How come it can't be seen in DTI and SEC Database, and How come it does not even have an online presence, when it is an Internet business?
Sasot called on Senator Bam Aquino in her Facebook page for answers.
The senator has given no response yet.
