MJ Quiambao Reyes criticized the online petition to suspend the blog of controversial star and Duterte supporter Mocha Uson, making fun of the mere 20,000 signatures gathered.

"These dimwits missed the fact that she has 4,000,000 followers. Go gather  3,980,000 more before you even try to curtail her freedom of speech" she said.

Reyes called the petition a "pathetic, stupid move".

"What can't kill Mocha will maker stronger. Your thoughtless action will only lead to multiplication of Mocha and her supporters." she wrote.

She gave a message to journalists, saying  they should stick to the facts and adhere to the code of ethics.

"Stop wearing that "Press" badge. Stop pretending. Start taking a stand (whichever side you're in.)

"Grow some balls, and some boobs, if you can!" she added.

She said only when journalist "care for others and write from their hearts" can they connect with people and command respect.
