Former Department of Interior and Local Government Chief Rafael Alunan said that De Lima is to go to court to face charges filed against her.
In his Facebook page on Friday, Alunan said that cases were already being filed against the senator by members of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption and executives of the National Bureau of Investigation.

"De Lima will have her day in court." he said.
Alunan suggested that De Lima will take a televised lie detector test since she is given so much media focus.
"If the test indicates that she's not guilty of narco-politics, that will help her case in court. But if she flunks the test, all her rabid supporters should re-examine their ethical foundations and apologize to the people" he wrote.
The man previously questioned how De Lima passed the bar examinations for lawyers.
"How did this person pass the bar?" he wrote on his Facebook account.
