De Lima denies foursome with ex-aides, alias 'Makoy'
“Babae po ako. Respetuhin nyo naman ang pagkababae ko. Wag naman ho yung ganun. baka sa susunod na sasabihin nila lahat ng naging security ko ay boyfriend ko.”
This was the appeal of Senator Leila de Lima to the reporters at the Senate on Monday.
This is after convict Jaybee Sebastian’s said De Lima has had four boyfriends, including her former close-in security aide and an alias “Makoy.”
The lady senator insisted she is loveless at the moment.
“For the record wala po akong lover ngayon. Wala po akong boyfriend ngayon. Sana meron para naman meron naman talagang nag aasikaso sa akin ngayon. I am on in my lowest moments because of what’s happening to me and what’s being done to me. So tama na ‘yan,” she said.
Sebastian claimed that there is an intimate relationship between De Lima and her former security aide, Joenel Sanchez.
Sebastian mentioned at the hearing that the senator call Sanchez “sweetie” at one point.
De Lima, however, denied uttering such a term of endearment.
“Wala mga first name..mga code, code on the security aspect not code on romantic things,” she said.
Aside from Sanchez and a certain “Makoy,” De Lima was also alleged to have had a relationship with her former driver, Ronnie Dayan, and another member of her security team, Warren Cristobal.
