Arnel Pineda to celeb drug users: Stop, it will ruin your life

"I’ve been off the hook for fourteen years.”

These were the words of singer Arnel Pineda while giving advice to drug users in the show business.

He said he realized fourteen years ago that drugs will not bring anything good into his life.

“I think it will not do you really good, e, ang pagda-drugs. So I think kung sino man yung mga tao na concerned, taga-showbiz man sila o hindi, they should stop."

"Kasi, personally hindi siya maganda talaga sa katawan mo, e. It will just ruin your health and eventually it will ruin your life." the singer said.

Pineda said that one can imagine the worst scenarios when it comes to drugs.

"Health mo, not so good, voice mo, not so good, life mo, wala. It’s always down and out ka.”

Pineda claimed that whoever is involved should stop.

"Sa showbiz sobrang suwerte nila, maganda ang access nila money-wise, fame, tapos yung mga taong umiidolo sa kanila." he said.

“I mean, what more could they want sa buhay nila para i-sacrifice nila yung pagtigil sa drugs? I think it’s a small thing from the big picture that they have you know sa buhay nila.” he added.

Pineda when asked about his opinion in the legalization of Marijuana, said he didn't disapprove as long as it's for medical use.

"Meron yung specie na hindi nakaka-high, e, yun yung ginagamit para dun sa mga may sakit. Pero yung mga nakaka-high yun naman yung sanhi na nagiging psychotic ka, so I think marami pang dapat pag-usapan."

"'Pero kung ili-legalize ‘yan para lang ma-legalize yung pagiging adik, huwag na lang.”

Pineda is currently traveling abroad, performing with his band, Journey.
