Tighter security for the Duterte family
As per Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte’s request, the Presidential Security Group (PSG) has increased its security measures for the First Family, paying special attention to the president’s grandchildren.
According to him, despite having grown accustomed to threats especially during his father’s term as Davao Mayor, these recent threats could actually lead to attacks now that his father is the President.
He added that the war on drugs and the exposés on the involvement of government and military officials made his father a target for assassination. With this, he asked the PSG to prioritize the security of his children and his siblings, Mayor Sara Duterte and Sebastian.

“I made a special request that the security of our children be intensified,” he said.
Despite this, Paolo said that he is not intimidated by the threats and that he would continually support he president’s war on drugs. ASCS
