Rolando Espinosa discloses drug cohorts, includes cops, lawmakers, and a senator
On Tuesday, Rolando Espinosa disclosed that there are several police officers, members of Congress, and a senator are among the cohorts of his son, alleged Eastern Visayas druglord Kerwin Espinosa.
Espinosa was close to dropping names but decided against it in fear of his life and those of his loved ones. “Ang buhay ko ngayon ay, kumbaga maliit na lang. Nanganganib na ang buhay ko,” he said.
After crying during his news conference, he started giving hints on the personalities he listed in his affidavit.
“May mga members sa PNP… may members ng Kongreso.” He also confirmed that a senator is included.
Albuera chief of police Chief Inspector Jovie Espinido said that he saw the ledger which was the basis of the affidavit. He confirmed that it pointed to a senator who was probably a former secretary of justice.
“May senador nga. May senador (na) isa, nakita ko. Dating secretary ng DOJ siguro yun… nakita ko lang,” he claimed.
Reports said that Espinosa is no longer knowledgeable on the whereabouts of Kerwin. He again called on to his son to surrender to the authorities.
“Ako po ay nanawagan sa aking anak na si Roland ‘Kerwin’ Espinosa n asana po ay mag-surrender na siya dito.
Meanwhile, Senator Leila De Lima, a former secretary of justice, has relentlessly denied the allegations that she is a drug coddler. ASCS
