The largest of three factions in the Moro National Liberation Front recommended the severest punishment for the people behind the Davao night market blast.
Former Cotabato City mayor Muslimin Sema, chairman of the biggest and most politically active group in the MNLF, said he condemned the attack.
He called the attackers “non-humans” who deserve the severest penalty the palace can possibly impose.
On Saturday, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) also expressed their opposition and denouncement of the attack.
They urged President Rodrigo Duterte to exhaust his powers in punishing those behind the dreadful attack and put them behind bars.
Ghadzali Jaafar, MILF’s vice chair for political affairs said that they did not expect the incident to happen in the iron-fisted President’s hometown and that they were saddened by it.
