Four new witnesses will testify at the House Inquiry on the proliferation of drugs inside Bilibid, according to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II on Wednesday.
On the resumption of the House Justice Committee hearing, the Secretary said that witnesses will be granted immunity from the suit.
The witnesses are Jojo Baligad, Froilan Trestiza, Hans Anton Tan and Jesusa Francisco.
The motion for immunity was approved by Committee chair Rep. Reynaldo Umali.
As of writing, Baligdad has arrived at the hearing while the rest are on their way, said Aguirre.
Two other witnesses, Noel Martinez and Jaime Patcho, who had already been given immunity on Tuesday, are also set to testify today. MJM
