Duterte "happy to slaughter" 3 million drug suspects, compares self to Hitler

President Rodrigo Duterte compared his anti-drug campaign to how Hitler massacred millions of Jews, saying he would be happy to slaughter three million addicts.

He threw another threat to drug dealers and users on Friday when he arrived in Southern Davao after his Vietnam trip. There, he talked about his anti-drug campaign with Vietnamese leaders, among other matters.

“Hitler massacred three million Jews … there’s three million drug addicts. There are. I’d be happy to slaughter them.” he said.

History books claim six million Jews were killed by the Nazi's during World War II.

Duterte said his threats to drug suspects are designed to scare them. He said his threats are legal.  

Duterte since the campaigning period, has vowed to eradicate drug trade in the country. His war against drugs has been linked to the death of 3,000 drug suspects.

Duterte said that while Hitler's victims were innocent, his targets are criminals and thhat killing them would finish the drug problem of the country. MJM
