Colangco: May number ako ni De Lima, nakausap ko siya
Herbert Colangco a convicted crime leader, drug lord and recording artist dropped bombshell during the congress hearing of the New Bilibid Prison drug trade on Tuesday.
Colancgo claimed that he was able to speak with Leila De Lima via phone call as regards the millions of pesos he and his fellow inmates would pool together for he senatorial campaign.
"Isang beses ko lang nakausap ko si Leila De Lima," Colangco said.
When Justice Sec. Aguirre asked if he is sure that the one he spoke with was really De Lima, Colangco responded "Kilala ko ang boses ni De Lima kasi madalas ko syang napapanood, 100 percent [sure ako]"
Colangco said that the phone conversation happened on 2nd week of January 2014.
Colangco executed an affidavit claiming that De Lima was given millions by drug lords in exchange for allowing drug convicts inside the state penitentiary to continue their illegal operations.
