Psychiatrists who gave Sereno low psych grade fired
Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno has fired the two psychiatrists of the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) who tested and gave her a low psych grade when she applied for the top judicial post.
As reported by Manila Times, a well-placed source at the Supreme Court told that the contracts of the two psychiatrists were ended.
The source did not name the psychiatrists, but rather said they had been with the JBC much sooner than Sereno got to be chief justice.
The source said Sereno pushed the ouster of the psychiatrists since she flies into a fury each time the issue of psychiatric testing comes up amid thoughts in the JBC.
“They were fired because the CJ [Chief Justice] has an ax to grind. They tested her and found her to have failed the psychiatric test,” the source said.
The JBC declined to reestablish the arrangements of the two psychiatrists for no unmistakable and legitimate reason, the source said.
The JBC can't utilize cost-cutting to legitimize the sacking the two psychiatrists since they were supplanted by a psychometrician, the source said.
In the first JBC arrangements of mental inspectors, there are two therapists and two analysts.
