Like most local celebrities, James Reid supports the government’s all-out campaign against illegal drugs.

Despite being busy taping with his girlfriend Nadine Lustre for their new teleserye Till I Met You (to be aired on ABS-CBN), James said that he keeps himself up to date with the current events of the country, including the anti-drugs campaign that was started by President Rodrigo Duterte.

According to James, he is in favour of random inspection, especially in music festivals. “Well, I love going to (music) festivals. I love partying. But, I mean, I guess you have nothing to be afraid of if you did not do anything wrong, so why not?”

However, he shares the same sentiments with Robin Padilla, who recently expressed his suggestion of not exposing the names of celebrities who are allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

“I think Robin Padilla already spoke out, saying na to think about talking to them first before, like, ruining people’s lives,” James said. “I think, yeah, I’m more in favour of that.”

If ever questioned, the actor said that he would be willing to undergo a drug test. ASCS
