The Filipinos have given their final rating for former President Benigno Aquino III. The verdict? “very good”.
According to Social Weather Stations (SWS) on Monday, August 15, the final SWS poll on the Aquino administration shows that 66 percent of Filipinos are satisfied with is performance, 17 percent are dissatisfied and 17 percent are neutral, for a net satisfaction of +50.
The survey was conducted from June 24 to 27 among 1,200 adults nationwide – 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The Aquino administration's final net rating is 15 points higher than its "good" +35 net rating in April.
According to the SWS, It attained its highest-ever net satisfaction rating of +66 in June 2013 – also deemed as "very good,"
The Aquino administration's net satisfaction rating fell to its lowest in March 2015, when it obtained a "moderate" +19 on the heels of the Mamasapano clash, its worst crisis.
Aquino has counted the incident as among the biggest "heartbreaks" of his administration.
Aquino scored the highest on those in class D, followed by the poorest class, then the well-off class.
By location, the biggest jump in net satisfaction ratings in the Aquino administration was in the bailiwick of President Rodrigo Duterte, Mindanao.
The Aquino administration obtained higher net satisfaction ratings in the National Capital Region and in the Balance of Luzon. MJM
