Leni to Pres. Duterte: He is very respectful at malumanay magsalita in person , ibang iba sya sa TV
President Rodrigo Duterte on TV is entirely not the same as the one she met in person, Vice President Leni Robredo said on Monday.
"Malayo siya doon sa dati kong nakikita sa TV at sa assumption ko of him. 'Yung sound and rage, nagmumura, madaling magalit, pinagagalitan kung sinong nakaka-get his ire. Ibang iba," Robredo said in a TV meeting.
"He was very respectful, malumanay magsalita.... Nahihiya pa nga ako kasi mina-"ma"am" niya ako," she included.
Robredo made the comments after her kindness approach Duterte on Monday evening. The 3 p.m. shut entryway meeting at Malacañang's study room went on for 60 minutes.
The Vice President before their separate introductions on June 30 had been attempting to get an arrangement to meet Duterte after they were broadcasted the champs of the last decisions.
It was just on Friday that they initially met after the races. Them two went to the turnover of order rituals of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Camp Aguinaldo.
Robredo giggled at the proposals flowing on online that pegged her and Duterte as an "love team." She said this must be on the grounds that numerous were "soothed" that they at long last met at the military occasion.
She said her little girls had the same opinion.
"Palagay ko kasi, on the grounds that through the span of over a month, parang every one of that was ever composed about us was that we weren't seeing eye-to-eye," Robredo said.
"I think numerous Filipinos were assuaged," she included.
In an announcement, Robredo portrayed her meeting with Duterte as "genial" and "easygoing."
